Your First Visit at Solitaire Orthodontics
We’re excited to welcome you to Solitaire Orthodontics! From the moment you walk through our doors, our friendly team will make sure you feel comfortable and confident about starting your orthodontic journey.
At your first appointment, Drs. Piyush and Kiran Heda will perform a detailed orthodontic exam and explain your treatment options in a way that’s easy to understand. You’ll also have plenty of time to ask questions, we want you and your family to feel informed every step of the way.
What We Cover at Your Orthodontist Consultation?
Your first visit is about more than just looking at your teeth. The goal is to give you clear answers to important questions like:
Is there an orthodontic problem?
When is the best time to start treatment?
Which treatment options will work best — metal braces, ceramic braces, or clear aligners?
How long will treatment take?
What will the investment look like?
Diagnostic Records: The Roadmap to Your Smile
If orthodontic treatment is recommended, we’ll schedule a visit to take diagnostic records; sometimes, we can even complete them during your first appointment.
These records include:
Digital study models of your teeth
Panoramic and cephalogram X-rays
Growth and development tracings
Our doctors study these records carefully to design a personalized treatment plan.
Affordable Orthodontic Treatment Options
We believe everyone deserves a confident smile. That’s why we offer flexible payment plans and work with most dental insurance providers.
During your consultation, our treatment coordinator will:
Review treatment costs based on your unique needs
Explain payment plan options that fit your budget
Go over insurance benefits to help lower your out-of-pocket costs
What Your Investment Includes?
When you start treatment at Solitaire Orthodontics, your investment includes:
Comprehensive orthodontic records (X-rays, models, and growth study)
Active orthodontic care, whether that’s early treatment, full braces, or clear aligners
All appliances, adjustments, and in-office procedures during treatment
One set of final retainers for comprehensive (Phase II) patients at the end of treatment
Please note: If appliances or retainers are lost, broken, or misused, a replacement fee may apply.
What’s Not Included?
Your investment covers all orthodontic treatment in our office, but it does not include:
Dental or surgical work performed outside of our practice
Additional treatment caused by accidents, injuries, or TMJ complications that may require surgery or extra orthodontic work
Insurance and Assignment of Benefits
To make orthodontics more affordable, we accept assignment of benefits for most insurance plans. This means we bill your insurance directly, lowering your upfront costs.
If your plan doesn’t allow direct assignment, we’ll still file your claims so you get reimbursed quickly. Just remember to update us right away if your insurance changes during treatment.
Office Hours and Appointment Expectations
We value your time, and we want your experience to run smoothly. To help us stay on schedule for you and other patients:
Please arrive on time for your appointments
Let us know as early as possible if you need to reschedule
Expect each visit to include treatment updates, adjustments, and time for questions
Your cooperation helps us provide the best possible care, every time.
